Data sources and attribution

All scholarly data used on this site is provided courtesy of the following services:

ORCID, for researcher identifiers and profile information.
OpenAlex, maintained by OurResearch, for scholarly works and citation information. OpenAlex data is released under the CC0 1.0 public-domain dedication.
SCImago Journal & Country Rank, based on data from Elsevier’s Scopus database, for journal metrics.
PlumX, for research impact and attention metrics where available.

These services remain the respective providers’ sources of record. This site does not claim ownership of their names, trademarks, or data.

How the data flows

University Scholarship combines researcher records, scholarly metadata, department research summaries, journal metrics, and controlled subject headings into a public research directory. AI assists with department summarization, classification, and matching; the resulting metadata is cached locally and remains available for review and curation.

The site may receive the minimum technical information required for a web request to function, such as information handled temporarily by the web server. We do not use that information to identify, profile, or track visitors. The scholarly records displayed here describe researchers and publications; they are not visitor-submitted user data.
